With Your Own Hands.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA 35-day immersive cob building workshop where you learn to create a complete\, beautiful\, affordable and ecological home from raw\, natural materials. \n\n\n\n  \nHands-on learning\, so you leave with a clear\, practical understading of sustainable\, low- impact construction and what it actually takes to build a house with earth. \n  \nwe work with a small group on a real project\, which means you are part of every step of the build. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn this workshop\, we will build a 12 m² round cob house using natural and recycled materials\, shaped with care and intention. The structure will feature a reciprocal green roof\, giving it that cozy\, earth-integrated feeling—something between a small hobbit house and a living sculpture. Along the way\, everything will be explained in a practical\, so you not only help create this space but also gain the understanding and confidence to adapt these techniques to your own future building projects. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n  \n  \nLOCATION: \nMafra\, Portugal \non a beautiful farm close to the ocean and the enchanted surfertown Ericeira \nAccommodation: \nThe Forrest is a place where we live a species appropriate life. we value natural tendencies\, rawness and honesty. several species like horses\, cats\, dogs\, small wild animals and a couple of humans live closely together respecting each other’s needs so we can all thrive. nature is our teacher. \n  \nAccommodation is simple and close to nature\, with camping as the main option included in the workshop fee.
