2-Day Intro to Natural Building: Cob, Straw, Natural Plasters

Join us on Cape Cod to experience the world of natural building through cob, straw wall systems, and natural plasters! We’ll combine discussion with plenty of embodied hands-on time for an inspiring and grounding weekend in the mud. Most of the days will be filled with direct hands-on interaction with the materials, building and working with model structures. We will also discuss the science behind why these materials work, how they interact with the environment, how to maintain them, building codes, and more!

Workshop fee includes 5 meals, shower and bathroom access, and free tent camping sites (indoor shared dorm rooms available at a small fee). We’ll also take care of our bodies with optional morning meditation and yoga. Plus, the beach is just a 4-minute walk away! We can’t wait to share our passion for natural building with you.
