This August, we’re offering a rare opportunity to ground your learning in hands-on practice—through a natural building workshop series rooted in the heart of Mendocino County, California.

Over two immersive weekends, students will:

• Work directly with clay, straw, and sand.
• Learn through touch, intuition, and repetition
• Explore the nuance of materials in real time
• Understand how earthen techniques contribute to fire-resilient design in a changing climate
• Begin a long-term relationship with the rhythms of earth-based construction
• learn simple details that make these techniques applicable for retrofitting conventional spaces
• eat all organic meals sourced on site and locally
• Have access to Sauna, and Hot Showers

This is not just an intro class—it’s an embodied invitation into the complexity, subtlety, and sacred logic of natural building.

You’ll leave with the foundational knowledge to continue this path—with your own hands, on your own land, or with your own community.
