Tool Lending Library Build
📅 March 28 | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Riverside-Corona Resource Conservation District (RCRCD), Riverside, California
Join us for a hands-on natural building day as we continue constructing the Tool Lending Library using pallet-based cob techniques. This workday will focus on installing the bottle art along the upper walls and cobbing the bottle bricks securely into the structure.
Use the link above to make your donation that fits your education budget. This will be your registration and you will receive an email with further instructions.
Participants will:
• Install decorative and light-transmitting bottle bricks
• Learn proper bottle placement for strength and visual impact
• Mix and apply cob to integrate bottle art into pallet wall systems
• Gain experience in structural and artistic earthen construction
• Contribute to a permanent community resource
This project is part of an ongoing effort to build resilient infrastructure that supports tool sharing, skill building, and community self-reliance.
No prior experience is necessary. All skill and ability levels are welcome. Wear work clothes you don’t mind getting muddy, bring gloves, sun protection, and water.
Come ready to work with earth, creativity, and community as we transform reclaimed materials into functional art that will serve the space for years to come.
